As we prepare for Light Up the Night 2026, we’re excited to invite our community to recognize the outstanding young people who help make Lac La Biche County such a special place to live.

The Jr. Citizen of the Year Award recognizes youth aged 15–18 who demonstrate kindness, leadership, and community spirit. These are the young people who step up, support others, volunteer their time, show initiative, and make a positive difference in the lives of those around them.

We know there are many deserving young people in our community whose contributions may go unrecognized. This is an opportunity to celebrate their efforts and let them know that what they do matters.
